This looks really great. But after four years my Gerberit tank failed, and because the button is tiled in, the tiles have to broken for the repair. Kind of a nightmare.

Yes this button is meant to be used on its own, without a flush plate behind it. It will work with the Geberit 111.335.00.5 carrier.
