A bidet is a longtime fixture of bathrooms in Europe and other parts of the world. Bidets are quickly increasing in popularity in the United States too. Once you begin using them, you can’t understand how you ever managed without it. A bidet offers you a pleasant wet cleanse after you use the bathroom. It only takes a few seconds for you to be substantially cleaner and fresher feeling than after a regular dry wipe. Bidets and faucets are available in an array of beautiful designs, so this awesome functionality is actually a net plus on the bathroom décor end too.
There are two basic bidet categories that you must decide between. Refer to product specs while shopping:
Deck mount bidets feature a spout on the back deck of the bidet, similar to what a faucet looks like on a sink. The water comes out of the spout and horizontally, with a downward pitch, cleanses your privates. Most deck mount bidets are designed with one hole, to accommodate sleek single hole bidet faucets that have the temperature/volume control together with the spout. However, there are some three hole widespread deck mount bidet faucets too, with the spout and hot/cold controls as separate pieces.
Vertical spray bidets feature a tiny spout on the floor of the bidet bowl. The water shoots up vertically, offering what many people feel is a more powerful cleanse. The bidet faucets for vertical spray bidets come in bidet faucet sets that have four pieces – individual and in separate holes – on the bidet deck: hot water, cold water, volume control and drain open/close control. The bidet faucets sets are impressive and highly decorative. They also include the spout, and often a drain cover, for the bottom of the bowl too.
