Q:What is recommended method for cleaning. Is it safe to use bath salts in the tub (or might it mar the finish).
A:
You can clean the tub using a soft cloth or sponge with dish soap. For a more thorough cleaning you can fill the tub with warm water and 1-2 cups of vinegar then dip a soft sponge into baking soda and scrub around the tub. Bath salts are okay but it is recommended to scrub the tub after using bath salts.

A:
There is no give to the wall. The shell is hollow though. We offer the option to foam fill the shell.

Livable luxury
My spouse and I were seeking a soaking tub which fit both of us, at the same time. This one is a win. Plenty big and plenty deep. Well-made. We opted for the factory insulation kit and white pop-up. We have it paired with a freestanding Brizo tub filler and an exposed-pipe rainfall thermostatic shower set with a ceiling-mount extra-large shower ring.

Along with this being a beautiful tub, our Perlato Sona has wonderful depth for long soaking times in addition to it being extra-long to accommodate my tall husband. This tub retains the warm water temperature especially since we added the extra insulated foam option. The Sona tub is a big asset to our newly remodeled master bath and we will enjoy it for many years to come!
