Q:does the handle of this product have to be on the left? Seems like this would potentially interfere with the faucet handle which is on the right (as pictured).
A:
You can reverse the handle to be on the right. Please keep in mind you would have to push the handle to back on the faucet instead of pulling forward since everything is reversed.
