Q:I am a remodeling contractor. I have a designer that specified the MTI Andrea 18 whirlpool tub.
Access for the pumps may be tricky.
Can the pumps be relocated in the crawlspace below the tub?
A:
No. The Whirlpool pump is factory installed and can be moved a little bit, but not under the tub as you would need the pump to be leveled with the tub, due to gravity. However the blowers of an Air Tub can be installed under the tub.
