Q:what is the "pop-up" in relation to the bathroom sink faucets. some models come with the pop-up and some don't. what is it exactly? thanks!

The pop up that many faucets include is the drain and assembly included to connect it to the faucet, so that you can pick up a piece from behind the faucet which will pop up the drain, and push that piece down to close the drain.
