Q:Could you also explain what the waste kit is for? I want to put a garbage disposal on the sink. Do I need the waste kit? Anything else?
A:
The waste kit has a pop up piece that goes on the deck, and attaches to the basket strainer to move it up and down. You don't need it if you are using a garbage disposal.
