Q:For the dummy Merrimack handles, do they have fake key holes or is it just the back plate? And why don’t the dummy ones have the option for left hand or right hand, because I’m hoping I can use them for a non moving French door.

Hi! The dummy is just the backplate without the keyholes. The dummy handles come with one right handed and one left handed which can be used on the front of two doors or the front and back of one door. So no handing needs to be specified
