I though this was wood. I see that it has a wood veneer, but I would think that was on plywood, not particleboard. When I got my vanity after 4 weeks, the shipping boxes of the top and cabinet were torn open. I heard loose parts in the vanity box clanking around. I looked inside the vanity box hole and about a 1 inch x 1/2 chunk was broken off one of the sides of the vanity. I so wanted this vanity and I wish it were solid wood. The vanity top was in a box with the entire corner exposed. It appeared intact, but I did not bother to open box and examine the rest. It is shocking that such an expensive item would not be double boxed. Refused shipment. This is disheartening because everything else I have ordered from Quality bath arrived in perfect condition. My rehab starts in 2 weeks and now I have to find a new vanity, that is solid wood, for my front bath.
