The distance from the floor to the top of the front seat on this toilet is 17-5/16 inches. This toilet can not be installed on a traditional aftermarket toilet seat riser.

So far, I'm in 2 weeks with my toilet installation. What you have to look for is the location of your electrical outlet and water supply. This toilet like others is "skirted" so the location of the electric and water is critical which I was unaware of. Also, Toto has certain requirements, so the water supply hose does not kink. Read the installation directions first. The plumber tells me installation takes upward of 4 hours after all other requirement is complete. I've had to remove tile, add electric through an outside wall, have the plumber over twice so far and coordinate with other contractors so they don't waste their precious time. Once installed I'm sure this will be my favorite toilet.
