Q:Can this grab bar be installed with the longer portion which bends upwards being on either the left or the right side? The photo shows the longer portion on the left side, but the spec sheet shows it going on the right side. Please answer as promptly as the discount ends tomorrow. Thanks!

We looked all over for a shower grab bar that would look right with our other shower fittings and this was it. It probably isn't ADA-compliant (I don't know for sure) but it feels sturdy enough for me. The bar has a high quality look and feel to it. While I would have bought a longer one if it had been available, I am now actually quite happy with the 15" bar. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this bar again, and I would also buy from QualityBath.com again. They shipped quickly and securely.
