Q:I would like to order three of the SANTEC BRAVO ESTATE COLLECTION SINGLE HOLE, SINGLE LEVER LAVATORY FAUCET. It's asking me if I want to purchase a cover plate with that. I'm confused about what this is. We are using cesar stone countertops on the vanity so there will be a hole made especially for the faucet. Will I still need the hole plate? What's the function?

The plate is only needed if you would like to cover up existing holes.
