Would like to have estimated arrival date; phoned to ask a product question and discuss delivery date but call was received by an answering machine

In the process of setting up this order I had believed that adding my phone number was not required. However in order to complete the check-out process, my phone number had to be added to make the process complete. I would like assurance that my phone number will never be sold, shared, or used in any way for sales or marketing. Thank you, Marvin Thompson
