The very expensive Toto I received was not heating up. Despite being a day old, it was technically used and not returnable. It became a warranty issue. That is baloney, as I'd already spent thousands on the deat itself, plus hiring an electrician and a plumber for installation. AND thrown out the old seat. I managed to find someone at Toto willing to replace the seat, but it all took weeks and a lot of effort. I might just do a big box store in future, where returns are never an issue.
