Q:Is this tub made of the same material as a Victoria & Albert Amiata tub?
A:
It is similar but not the same. The Perlato Lapistone is more of a true stone and will have a rich matte finish. Victoria & Albert's material has some acrylic mixed into it so it will have more of a shine.

The tub is heavy and feels well made. The eco-lapistone has a matte texture and feels nice. Our tub has a manufacturing defect on the back where surface ripples where the integral overflow drain is located. However, since we have the tub against a wall, that does not create a problem.
