Q:With many of the Perlato tubs insulation is an option. However with the Padova, it does not appear to be an option since it is using natural materials. What tub will keep the water warmer, the acrylic with insulation or the natural materials ?

The Lapistone material will keep the water warmer as it like a solid stone that naturally retains the heat.

This tub and my Duravit SensoWash are the BEST

Two years after our bathroom renovation, I'm still asking myself what took us so long to get a tub like this one. Even when not in the tub, I look at it and think: why am I taking a shower? I should have taken a bath. Looks amazing, but the best is that it's super easy to maintain, clean and inviting. We are 5'5" and 5'9", not overweight but not skinny, and we both fit if we want to ;-) TMI. The water stays hot for as long as my bath takes. It took me a while to find the right pillow to support my neck and upper back, but I did. It's a miracle that I haven't drowned because I relax so much on it that I pass out and wake up with wrinkly fingers.

This is an amazing buy. Huge tub that fits my 6'3" husband with ease. Sleek design that looks very modern and is comfortable. We did get a large back pillow to help with comfort. After an hour we needed a bit more haha. Tub stays hot for a very long time. We are extremely happy.
