I replaced an old Mr Steam 225 with a new model 225. It's works great but is much noisier when filling with water. The best tip I have is to consider installing a 2nd on/off switch outside of the shower, especially if the main control is not located just inside the shower door. That way, you could turn it on and let it heat up without walking into the shower. This will not help anyone who can locate their control where you can easily reach into the shower.

We have had our Mr. Steam for several months and use it frequently. It is great as a stress relief or after a workout, but the best is as a health remedy for our kids. My youngest son had some issues with congestion. The doctor said to bring him into the bath room after a hot shower. When we said that we had a steam room, the Doc was excited. He had us set it to a low temp and bring the baby into the steam. It worked great to clear him up. The baby loved it and crawls into the room whenever he can. We really enjoy the product.
