Everyone’s favorite job: we spend hours every year surfing the web for the greatest in home design inspiration. Some notable sites grab our attention more than others, offering a satisfying blend of beauty, advice, and appeal.

These blogs made our 2019 more colorful, exciting, and educational; we hope they’ll do the same for your 2020!

   Affordability and simplicity mingle with DIY and natural materials on this (true to its name) feel-good blog. Explore projects, beauty, food, and travel with down-to-earth bloggers who will instantly feel like your friends.

   Small home, big thoughts. This blog showcases the joys (and practical how-tos) of living in a small space, presented by an expert: Melanie, a minimalism coach who’s lived in an Airstream, a kitted-out van, and an 800-square-foot house.

   

3. Yellow Brick Home

   Husband-and-wife bloggers Kim and Scott have transformed several houses from Oz to awesome (though that’s not exactly the inspiration behind the blog name), and they invite readers in to check them out. See something you love? Go ahead, click the “shop our house” tab and be a copycat.

   

4. French Country Cottage

   What happens when you combine a love of French Country style and professional photography? A blog that makes you go ooooh, pretty. Whatever your style preference, you’ll find something to sigh over on this site.

   The name says it all: this blog is where the latest fashions pop up to greet you in all their glory (no searching necessary). From travel to beauty, from family to home decor, get ready to say hello to your new little friend.

   Looking for the ultimate girlfriend who can do it all (but won’t make you feel inferior while she dispenses spot-on advice)? Look no further. Landyn has her finger on the pulse of shopping, decorating, cooking, and Mommying. (Plus, a manly twist: her husband Steve’s page!)
