Our Top 10 Picks from the Architectural Digest Design Show 2017

Our Top 10 Picks from the Architectural Digest Design Show 2017

The Architectural Digest Design Show 2017 is over, but the styles are just beginning! Our favorite displays provide a glimpse into the future of home design trends.

The 16th annual Architectural Digest Design Show concluded on Sunday, March 19, and it was bigger, better, and more beautiful than ever before.

At this year’s show, like every other, representatives of the world’s top brands and designers – both well-known professionals and up-and-coming newbies – converged on New York City in a dazzling display of talent and inspiration. Every one of the booths – over 400 of them – attracted thousands (an estimated 40,000 people attended!) to partake of the displays of the latest trends as well as design seminars, culinary demonstrations, and special appearances.

Attendees browsed the veritable treasure trove of products and concepts for every area of the home: kitchen, bath, living, bedroom, lighting, furniture, accessories, textiles, even landscaping – the Architectural Digest Design Show 2017 was the place to be for every design enthusiast, no matter how casual or serious.

Every booth provided a glimpse into the ever-changing tides of design, from established manufacturers to the independent artisans showcased in the MADE section.

It’s impossible to pick just some from all the awesomeness… but someone’s gotta do it. Here are our top 10 favorites (designers, booths, objects) from the dazzling display at the Architectural Digest Design Show 2017.

Ethan Abramson’s collection is comprised of ultra-cool, made-to-order furniture with a unique edge, like this coffee table with intentional splits:

Woven Concepts, an artisan rug designer, popped up in several places, not just their own booth (though it is breathtaking, furnished by DePadova NYC):

They were also featured in another one of our favorite displays, Patrick Weder Design (distinctly masculine elegance, undeniable flair):

And finally, Cocobolo Design crafted a living room we all want to curl up in:
