Farmhouse Sinks for the Bathroom

Farmhouse Sinks for the Bathroom

They’re not just for kitchens anymore. Add flair, fashion, and overall fabulousness to any bathroom with a farmhouse sink.

Farmhouse sinks, also known as apron-front sinks, are all the rage in kitchens. They’re not typically found in bathrooms, though, probably due to the fact that they’re trendy in kitchens (and many people don’t want a “kitchen sink” in their bathroom) and that most models are heavy-duty fireclay, requiring special cabinetry for support.

Don’t limit it to the kitchen! The farmhouse sink is actually a great feature in a bathroom; it’s trendy yet timeless, practical and beautiful. And it’s now available in so many colors, materials, and styles, there’s sure to be one that’ll fit right into your bathroom, no matter the style.

A farmhouse sink fits right in with a traditionally-decorated bathroom; stick with traditional styling and materials such as white fireclay or ceramic and rolled edges.

Of course, farmhouse sinks – especially with a weathered finish – are the perfect choice for a rustic or farmhouse bathroom; pair with an industrial faucet and wood accents for extra impact.
