The item was supposed to ship in 2-3 weeks from when purchased as it was a special order. I received the shower arm a few days after the order notification but without a notification from QB it was shipped. When I got it, the shower head screw part was stripped on both sides (the stripping is so obvious as it is stripped on both sides - how the QC person missed this I will never know). According to QualityBath I have to wait 2 weeks for California Faucets approve an RMA that it was damaged. The only reason I give it two stars is because the shower arm is a nice design and looks nice. What really concerns me is the item came with a label with the name of the person (Carlos) who said the item was water tested. How can it be water tested the tested noticing the stripping of the screw head? Its just too obvious to miss. So now according to QB policy I have to wait two weeks while CF approves the RMA before I can ship it back to them. Two weeks to way too long to return an item - I have never had to wait that long to return a defective product. I can understand a few business days, but two weeks?
