There is no specific height that is needed. It will depend on the area where you are installing. You want it to be above the rim of the tallest pot you will be using it with and high enough that it wont be in the way of the stove top.

I love this pot filler. I was looking for something for my kitchen for awhile. I came across this and felt that it was the perfect color (I went with the luxe gold) a nice shape and a fantastic quality. I was really going for a statement piece in my kitchen. My husband was able to install it by himself, shipping was quick and on time. The product is heavy and well made, the water pressure is fantastic and fills my pots twice as fast as my sink faucet.
