This is for remodel bathroom so far just framing and new pipeing yet to no how good it is until remodel done looks study and hydro system should keep my wife happy.
tub rim
I wish I knew or paid closer attention to the width of rim. A regular size tub faucet is to short.
UNHAPPY
UNFORTUNATELY I spent over $400 extra for a drain in brushed gold. It arrived in a coppery bronze t one and does not match my other fixtures.

We love this Japanese style soaking tub. It is high quality, keeps a great bath and looks fantastic. The only issue is the tub is so deep we had to cut out the doorway to the bedroom to get it through the door. I highly recommend this tub!
Great soaker tub.
The whirlpool 6642 alyssa was great addition to my new Master bathroom . The quality and workmanship was top. The jets work wonderfully and give out the perfect Amount of water pressure . I'm delighted to have This whirlpool and would definitely recommend It to a friend
My wife purchased the Hydro Lacey tub from QB to replace an older Jacuzzi tub in our master bath. The overall experience with Quality Bath was perfect. Their customer service was both personal, friendly and thoughtful. I highly recommend QB to everyone renovating. We are currently renovating our kitchen and I will be purchasing from them again. As for the Hydrosystems tub, the tub was well packed and delivered from CA to MA quickly. The overall quality is high. The fiberglass is thick and welll crafted. I would purchased their product again and was glad to finally find a tub of some size. The tub has clean lines and looks both classic and modern.
What a beautiful tub. I bought most of the extra features including extra jets. I had a minor problem with the Back Masseuse system controls but Ronn & Casey at Hydro Systems were very helpful to walk me thru to correct. My suggestion (regardless what tub you purchase) is to fill the tub & test to insure everything works before construction encloses your access panel. I looked at many brands & models before selecting this tub. The 42" probably is a little wider than most would need or want. A nice feature but scared me the first time it happened. Apx 10-15 minutes after tub empties the cleaning system automatically turns on & runs for several minutes. I was not expecting that. And, Naomi at QualityBath was very helpful. .
