Alno G234-8 Reviews

They're ok. When installing, be careful with the template, we bought two sets of these handles and we didn't notice that the templates were different!! Like they really shouldn't be so why even check, right!! So the contractor drilled the holes in solid fir wood doors, yeah, very expensive!! Then when putting the handles on after using the other template, (yeah there are extra holes in my gorgeous doors) one of the supplied screws broke off in the handle when it was being screwed on. The manufacturer did replace the handle that had the screw stuck in it, BUT DID NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT MY DAMAGED DOORS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, we sent pictures of the door and the two templates but they blamed it on the contractor saying that he should have known better and should have measured himself. This is the exact quote in me email from Jim Malcolm, Director of Sales & Marketing: "It is hard to see what happened from the picture you provided, but your installer should know how to drill for an 8” center to center pull as this is a standard size." Well then WHY supply a template at all??????????
