If you hook it up to a dimmable switch that is compatible with LED then it can be dimmed. If not the mirror jsut has an on/off switch. The CRI is 85.

I like the mirror, it looks really good when lit up, but you can see the wires when it isn't lit up. It is a solid mirror and a nice size.
