Pedestal Sink

I purchased this sink because I loved the style. It is shaped like a shell. About 3 weeks after my plumber installed it a 1 oz makeup bottle fell from my medicine cabinet and put a hole in the sink. My sink from the '50s had plenty o mishaps like that but nothing ever left a hole. I was very disappointed with the quality of this sink. I was able to find someone to patch it so all was not lost. To buy a new sink and have a plumber reinstall would have been at least $800 so I was willing to live with the patch although it doesn't match.
