The Sanishower is a gray water pump small enough to fit inside a vanity cabinet or a raised shower base. The Sanishower pumps waste water from a shower, sink, bar sink and other fixtures. It is capable of pumping water 12 feet in height or 100 feet away from the soil stack. The Sanishower makes it possible to have a full bathroom where you never before thought possible.
The inside of the Sanishower is comprised of a pressure chamber, which starts and stops the unit, and the motor, which drives the pump.
When the water enters the Sanishower, it activates a micro switch in the pressure chamber, which in turn starts the motor. The motor is sealed for life in an oil filled enclosure. A spindle/shaft drives the impeller and therefore the moving parts are kept to an absolute minimum. Water enters the chamber and is pumped away into the sanitary sewer.
The unit pumps the effluent upward to 12 feet and/or 100 feet horizontally (with gravity fall). Once the water is discharged and the water level in the container goes down, the micro switch deactivates the unit until water enters the unit again. A normal operating cycle for the Sanishower can be as short as 2 - 10 seconds depending upon the discharge pipe run configuration; power consumption is therefore minimal.
In addition to sinks, the Sanishower will also accept and discharge the waste water from a variety of other sanitary fixtures such as: a shower, a urinal, etc.
The discharge elbow on the side of the Sanishower can be rotated 360 degrees to fit any type of installation required. A non-return valve, which comes already assembled on the discharge elbow, prevents back flow into the unit.
The operating cycle is 2-10 seconds, depending on the discharge pipe run configuration. Power consumption is minimal.
Yes, a sink or urinal.
When adding a shower, a base will have to be constructed. This base should be made out of a 2" x 6" (minimum) or 2" x 8" (recommended) on edge, to allow for the installation of a P-trap and the required 1/4" per foot gravity flow towards the pump unit.
Gray water pumps are designed to handle the drains of a sink, shower, bathtub, washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen sink, laundry sink but not a toilet.

We purchased the Saniflow sump pump to use outside of a bathroom to include a vanity in a larger dressing area. It works FANTASTIC and we could not be happier. We are so glad it was recommended to us by a contractor friend. THANK YOU!
The pump works perfect in our basement bathroom. It is compact and easy to install.
We purchased the Sanishower unit to provide drainage for a shower we were adding to an existing bathroom where there was no drain provision. The unit is performing exactly as advertised, making a potentially very expensive task easy and inexpensive.
I was very impressed with the speed of service that Quality Bath provided. I called customer service to place my order and the customer service department was on the ball with my request. The price I received from Quality bath was better then any supply houses in my area, so my experience with Quality Bath was outstanding. Thank you for the excellent service.
I purchased the Saniflow sump pump for a project that I am working on – to convert a 10-ft shipping container to a bathroom container that is useable on the ship. My colleague and I are performing a test on the sump pump to determine its reliability. We wanted to know how many cycles it took to fail. Currently, it has cycled 60,000 times, and still hasn’t failed! This goes to show that the sump pump is a very reliable component, which we will definitely purchase again should another similar project arises.
