Q:I'd like to mount this vessel sink on a new quartz countertop. The only required cutting of the quartz is the drain hole. Is that drain connection enough to firmly afix the sink to the countertop? Or, should it also be caulked to the countertop? I don't want it to move.
A:
The drain will secure the sink in place. However, I would recommend running a bead of silicone to secure it and to prevent leakage.
