If you’re like most of us, you have a bath and shower in the same spot. However you decide to pamper yourself at any given time, you want the experience to be pleasant. You also want the area to look beautiful at all times. Thankfully, our large selection of Tub & Shower Sets covers all your needs and wants.

A tub and Shower combo includes a tub spout, shower (shower head, hand shower or both), and control set for pressure and temperature. A diverter and/or other control mechanisms determine which of the fixtures will release the water when you turn it on. Be aware that most bath and shower kit includes the rough plumbing necessary for the system to run. However, there are some that are specified as only including the trim, i.e. the shiny stuff you see on top of the wall and bathtub. In that case, you must make sure that the trim is from the same manufacturer as the rough plumbing you install, and are compatible for the same type of system.

You can get bath and shower in a wide variety of traditional, transitional and modern/contemporary designs and a range of finishes. Exposed Tub and Shower Sets are a very unique and popular choice – typically offering a bold vintage look. By far the most common installation type is wall mount, but there are some nice options for deck mount sets, plus freestanding/floor mount bathtubs and showers, which are a particularly solid decorative presence.

A key factor in choosing a shower and tub combo is the system type:

The best, and more expensive, system is the thermostatic system. Thermostatic Tub & Shower Sets have a system that allows you to set one control to your desired temperature. A separate control turns the water on and off, and controls the pressure. The water comes out at precisely the temperature that it’s set for, consistently, regardless of whether any sinks or major appliances are being turned on or off in your home. A thermostatic control also removes the need to reset the temperature every time you bathe or shower, and allows you to use a shower head and hand shower at once.

The other system type is the pressure balance tub and shower control, which is cheaper and most common. Pressure balance controls utilize a single control for both temperature and volume, and regulates temperature by balancing the pressure of the hot and cold water flows. This offers a fairly reliable and steady temperature control, but lacks the precision and convenience offered by thermostatic controls.

Whatever you choose for your bathtub and shower combo, it’ll make the area both look and feel great.
