I could not be happier with my purchase of the Fairmont Designs 48" Tuxedo Vanity. It is wonderfully made and has more storage space than I imagined. Although I kept the polished nickle knob on the smaller Tuxedo Vanity by Fairmont that I purchased several years ago for my master bath, I changed the drawer pulls on the larger model because I found some in oiled bronze (which I used throughout the bathroom I remodeled) that mimic the design of the vanity itself. Both my husband and I like the vanity's height (He doesn't have to stoop down to look in the mirror) and the fact that it looks like a piece of furniture.

Yes, all the drawers are real drawers and each draw is approximately 16 inches deep. Fairmont uses a 48 1/2" x 22" top for this vanity, so something in that size range should work.
