Mirrored Medicine Cabinet
The Robern uplift medicine cabinet adds an unprecedented efficiency to the medicine cabinet industry and changes the way medicine cabinets were though of previously. For starters the uplift, like its name implies opens vertically allowing it to be installed flushed with the countertop. This flushmount installation optimizes seated grooming applications. The door features a position-hold technology so it can be left at any open point. This incredible cabinet also features electrical outlets, integrated interior lighting, adjustable storage and a cable management system to keep wires organized and out of the way. A defogger and night light can be added for additional convenience.

Standard Features:
Position Hold-Lets you decide how much or how little you want to open the door.
Interior Lighting-Interior lights turn on when the door is open, and turn off when it is closed, making it easy to find items when your room is dark.
Electrical Outlets-The electric column features 6 outlets, two at the top, and four at the bottom, to provide power for items such as electric razors and curling irons. Cabinets are ETL Listed.
Adjustable shelves-clear glass shelves adjust in two inch increments to provide versatile storage options.
Cable Management-This discreet wiring enclosure keeps unsightly wires out of sight. It allows you to run wires from your appliances to any outlet without cluttering your space.
Interior Mirror-A mirror on the back of cabinet allows you to have access to a mirror when the door is completely open.

we love the Robern Uplift Cabinet. My only regret is that did not include the defogger, which can not be added after the fact. The unit was easy to install and works as advertised. We are looking at purchasing a second Uplift unit for a future remodel.

Love the cabinet, love the design.. Form truly follows function with this one, that's for sure. Enjoy the fact that it lifts up to allow access to items inside, saves a bunch more space than the one that it replaced. One minus, got the lights that go with it as shown in their catalog, alas, no bulbs and was not mentioned.

I have had the Robern medicine cabinet in my bathroom for almost a year and love it as much today as I did the day it was installed. I like the fact that it provides one long continuous mirror with ample storage space in the most compact way. It's an expensive piece, but well worth it. I would buy it again without hesitation and will probably buy another one when I remodel my second bathroom. It's not an easy piece to install, though. It took my handyman a few hours to get it right.

I love this cabinet and would like to order it for my remodel. How long will it take for me to receive?
This cabinet will make a fantastic addition to your renovation. The lead time will vary according to the manufacturer, but it usually takes between 2-3 weeks for them to produce and then another 1-2 weeks in transit. If you are in a rush then call before you order, and we will check with Robern for a more definitive lead time.

How do I know if I should order a top and bottom kit or a side kit?
The kits are used when the edges of the cabinet are exposed. If the bottom of the cabinet will be flushmount to the counter (or there will only be a small, not visible space) and if the top of the cabinet is not visible, then you will not need the top and bottom kit. If you will be installing the cabinet as a surface mount or semirecessed installation, then the edges will be exposed and you will need to order the side kit.

I see there are different ways to install this cabinet but I don't understand the differences, can you please explain it to me?
There are 3 different ways to install this cabinet. Either Surface Mount, SemiRecessed or Recessed. When doing a surface mount installation the cabinet is placed on the surface wall of the room. A recessed installation means that the cabinet is fully set back into a hollow cavity in the wall. In a semirecessed installation the cabinet is set back in the wall, but not completely, a few inches of the cabinet protrude from the wall. Based on the space allowance in your room you need to select which installation type will work best for you. You will need to order an additional side kit, if you are not fully recessing the cabinet.
