Q:What's the length of the bar?
After it's mounted, does the hand held shower mount rotate freely spinning around to enable the head to be on the left or right or center of the bar?

Please see the attached spec sheet. http://www.watermark-designs.com/pdf/specification/P/PB_8524.pdf The handshower will not be able to swivel all the way around once the bar has been installed. The handle will get in the way and hit the wall. You can have it mounted on either side when installing.
