Q:What is the full length of this towel rail, including the wall mounts? It says 23 5/8", but does that include the additional width of the wall mounts that extend beyond the length of the rail itself? I have a very limited wall space that is 24.5" wide, so the entire mounted width of the rail has to fit inside that space.

23 5/8" is the complete width from the end of the escutcheon to the other. The center to center measurement is 22 1/4".
