the picture can be misleading. Mine was professionally installed but for a renovation project. The finished controls stick out an inch more than pictured. I called the manufacture and this is not unusual depending on how deep the rough-in was installed. Disappointing but not tearing open the wall again. The trim plate is also plastic, for the price and quality of this brand you would assume it would be metal.

Q:what is the difference between 15775001 and 15771001? I don't understand what it means for 1 outlet v/s 2 outlets.

The 15775 allows you to use one function, for example a showerhead, whereas the 15771 has a built in diverter so you can have 2 functions.
