The Shaws sinks are made in England.

They are small clips that hook onto a screw underneath a counter top and they assist in mounting a basin to the counter

I am in the process of a kitchen remodel and the sink is currently in place but not useable. Although not being used, it is beautiful and just a great focal point. It is the original farm sink all other sinks copied. I love it and recommend getting the real thing.

Absolutely beautiful
I will admit that it's a bit scary ordering a sink you've never seen in person from a website! That said - the sink arrived within a week, very well packed in it's original Rohl factory packaging, and strapped to it's own little pallet. The sink is exactly what we were looking for; classic, a little bit country, but with clean lines. The sink has proven to be easy to care for, stands up to heavy use and cleans up beautifully with a basic sponge and dish soap. I did purchase the Rohl grate to help protect it from some of my heavy pots and cast iron pans, the few scuffs caused by pots/pans came right off with a bit of "Bar Keepers Friend."
