This tub can be either undermounted, or dropped in.

If you choose a drop in installation, the controls will be on the deck of the tub.
If you choose an undermount installation, the controls will be on the wall above the overflow.

NOTE: If you are ordering an air tub, Aromatherapy diffusion will not be available with an undermount installation.
