The Dual Sump / Cartridge System with replaceable cartridges is designed for use with AI Series commercial steam boilers. Features a ScaleX2 filter to reduce scale problems. It will also reduce chlorine and sediment from water by trapping particulates in a second filter as water passs through the system.

It is recommended that filter cartridges be replaced after six months of use, or sooner if the water pressure through the system drops below 20 lbs. PSI.

Over time, scale build-up impedes steam production, reduces energy efficiency, increases maintenance requirements and eventually cause equipment to shut down.

The filter in this Filter System instantly transforms dissolved hardness ions into microscopic particles that become suspended in solution and can no longer form hardness compounds. The suspended microscopic particles are flushed away when the steam generator water is drained during routine drain and flush procedures. Therefore, the automatic drain option must be installed to ensure maximum benefit of the Filter System.
