The patented Jentle Jet uses the power of three strategically placed micro-jets to thoroughly launder everything from lingerie to heavy knit sweaters. No harsh agitators. Only jetted water touches the garments, controlled by a three-speed air volume knob that adjusts the water action from a soft swirl to a vigorous wash. The sink is powered by a specially designed (and super quiet) 1.0 bhp pump with variable cavitation control. In the middle of the sink is a carefully designed baffle that allows garments to move freely during the washing, without being detained by the suction.

The capacity of Jentle Jet's deep basin is large enough to handle a bulky sweater, two blouses or up to five pieces of lingerie, hosiery, fine linens or swimwear per wash cycle. Measuring 25" x 22" x 11.5", the compact exterior fits neatly into any laundry room and does double duty as a utility sink. For added convenience, the sink is designed for self-rimming installation. As with all designs in the MTI Whirlpool family, the Jentle Jet looks as good as it works. Available in 50 different colors, the sink is constructed of durable high-gloss Lucite® cast acrylic material with reinforced backing of fiberglass and resin. It comes standard with a recessed soap dish in the top deck and a convenient washboard front built into the inside front wall of the sink. Optional features include a drain kit with single remote pop-up basket strainer and timer.
