MTI Whirlpools showcases the Boutique Collection at K/BIS 2008!
All eyes were on MTI at the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show this year, when the company showcased the Boutique Collection - an exclusive assemblage of high-end, design-savvy solid-surface products for the bath.

Used once only for sinks and countertops, solid-surface materials have become increasingly popular in recent years thanks, in part, to the design flexibility which they permit. And MTI's designer Russell Adams has extended those benefits to create a beautifully simple collection that is as elegant as it is practical.
Each product in the Boutique Collection is constructed using MTI Whirlpools' exclusive "ESS" composite material, a mixture of ground natural minerals and binding agents that are liquefied, poured and then hardened. These "Engineered Solid-Surface" products are non-porous, stain-resistant, mold and mildew-resistant. A breeze to clean, they will continue to look brand new with minimal maintenance.
Highlighting the collection this year was the introduction of the Petra, a bold statement in strong, clean lines and sharp, contemporary geometric angles. The Petra combines minimalist design with the beauty of solid-surface construction desired by today's discriminating homeowners. It measures 62.625" x 32.25" x 21.5" and retails for $7,999.
Other freestanding tubs in the collection include the Elise soaking tub with its soft lines and organic shape, generously proportioned at 72" x 37.125" x 24"; the slightly smaller Elise 2, measuring 63" x 32" x 20.625"; the more contemporary Alissa and the more petite Alissa 2, both featuring clean, simple lines and a bold design, measuring 71.5" x 37.25" x 21" and 61.375" x 32" x 18" respectively; and the lovely Lydia, a vision in asymmetric artistry, ideal for small spaces, measuring 55.875" x 31.25" x 19.5".

MTI's Boutique Collection includes a 60" x 32" solid-surface shower base that features a concealed drain for a clean, contemporary look. It is available in a white or biscuit matte finish and retails for $1,999.
Augmenting the sophistication of the tubs and shower base is a collection of sinks distinguished by their clean contemporary lines; each a hand-made work of art capable of transforming the bath into an extraordinary showcase of style. The Trillium is squared off and offers a generous 5.875" depth, while the St. Tropez celebrates a modern elongated design with an offset drain. The Metro and Metro Double offer sleek design options and sizes ideal for master or guest bath installations. The angular Wymara and Wymara Double provide for a more compact installation with thinner, more minimalist sides, while the Elise mirrors the organic design inherent in the exquisite freestanding tub of the same name.
