Designed for the well-lived life, the Antigua is a freestanding bath with simple, very clean lines, giving an Old-World yet contemporary feel. A compact exterior belies a surprisingly roomy interior, and double-walled construction enables Antigua to be available as a soaking bath or an air bath. The air bath piping is concealed between walls of reinforced acrylic, allowing the simple, elegant appearance of a freestanding soaker, while providing the therapeutic benefits of thermo-air massage.

Eliciting the ultimate spa experience at home, MTI's System Aria or Aria Elite therapeutic air bath systems provide light full-body massage through strategically placed air jets. The jets produce thousands of tiny bubbles that relax muscles and stimulate circulation. The flow rate is adjustable from gentle to vigorous, or pulsating for a wave effect. And an electronic keypad controls all aspects of the air system. With System Aria, air pre-warmed by a ceramic heating element is released from the bottom of the bath through 20 discreet "illusion" air jets that are barely visible and absolutely flush with the bottom of the bathing well. Aria Elite offers the enhancement of 6 seven-port low-profile lateral air jets positioned on the sides of the bath for a total of 42 additional air streams: 2 concentrated on the back area, 2 at the feet and one on each side for the hands and arms.

MTI air bath systems also include the new aromatherapy diffusion system, which allows bathers to benefit from the centuries-old use of essential oils to maintain or promote the health of body, mind and spirit. The bath's diffusion system is easy to use, flexible and effective. A small deck-mounted well houses a removable canister containing the desired fragrance; when the air bath system is activated, the warm air passes through the canister. Millions of air bubbles carry the fragrance to the water's surface, where the bubbles pop and release the scent into the air.

The Antigua measures 59-1/2" x 35-1/4" x 21" and is constructed of high-gloss Lucite® cast acrylic, and in a variety of colors. As a soaking tub, the unit retails for approximately $3,399 as shown in white. Acrylic provides a renewable, non-porous and stain-resistant surface that is both practical and attractive. For a unique and striking appearance reflecting the current trend toward mixed materials, select a metallic wrap of copper or stainless steel.
