The sink from Mitrani is beautiful and just what we wanted. 4/12/2011 rated 5 starsverified buyer

The sink from Mitrani is beautiful and just what we wanted. The shipment and communication between Quality bath and myself was great. I did alot of shopping around and found your price on the apron sink was the best for the quality.

It's been easy to clean. 4/12/2011 rated 5 starsverified buyer

The sink has worked out great so far. It's been easy to clean. We are not living full-time at the house where it's installed. One suggestion on design. The corners should be slightly elevated to allow water to drain better. It seems to pool a little in the corners. It's not a big deal, but I notice it.

This is a great looking sink and although not inexpensive, was a good deal less expensive than other farm sink choices we looked at. Because of its shape (right angles at the bottom) and its depth, it holds quite a lot, much more than other 26" sinks. The flat bottom means chasing kitchen debris around to get it to end up in the drain. Make sure you get a good sprayer with your faucet. We have also had some staining but a little bleach fixes that right up. This sink was not easy to install. Farm sinks vary in all dimensions, especially depth. We ordered a special farm sink cabinet from KraftMaid, but it did not properly accommodate the depth. Our builder had to cut and replace the cross rail and order smaller doors from KraftMaid. End result was excellent, but we were worried for a few days that we would have to return the sink.

I love the way it looks and how it dresses up my new kitchen. 4/13/2011 rated 4 starsverified buyer

I ordered my Mitrani farm sink a couple of years ago, and I love the way it looks and how it dresses up my new kitchen. Before purchasing, I checked numerous sites for price comparison, and found the best price at Quality Bath. The sink arrived on time, which pleased my cabinet-maker. I bought a sink which is reversible, though I don't have any plans to reverse it ! All of my dealings with Quality Bath were pleasant, and satisfactory in every way. However, I can offer some suggestions relative to installation. I did not stay in the kitchen while the granite counter-tops were installed. Problem #1: the workman placed the sink under the granite before he drilled the holes for the fixtures, and when he drilled, he cut into the back top surface of the sink - so reversing it is no longer an option! Problem #2: he installed the sink too far back, so that drips over the front landed on the cabinet doors below (front edge on the sink should line up with the edge of the counter top). Problem #3: some of the silicone used to seal the join of the top with the sink dripped into the sink, and when he tried to remove it, he scarred the surface. I hope these suggestions will prevent damage to others!

I like and enjoy the sink 4/11/2011 rated 4 starsverified buyer

I like and enjoy the sink, it was what I expected. I feel it was an extremely expensive item.

It is very attractive and has worn well. 4/11/2011 rated 5 starsverified buyer

We have had our sink for about 1 yr. It is very attractive and has worn well. It was the only sink that fit our size needs and design appearance so overall I am very happy with it. No issue with shipping or arrival time. The one large basin accomodates all sizes of dishware, it doesn't seem to chip and the use of a stainless steel mat designed by Mitrani has protected it well. A couple of issues though: it has a flat bottom, so debris does not easily wash out of the sink with a simple rinse. We ususally have to wipe debris down into the drain with a sponge to clean, which may be a common issue with farmhouse-style sinks. Another factor is that the bottom of the sink stains fairly easily. Use of a waxy polish helps avoid stains, but every other week or so I fill the bottom of the sink with a bleach solution which whitens it right back up.
