Perfect Complement to our Contemporary Kitchen 11/20/2012 This faucet has been perfect for our new kitchen island with quartz counter tops and stainless steel undermount sink. It is sturdy, performs flawlessly, and looks great to boot. A couple things to be aware of: the spray button requires you to hold it down to spray, unlike some faucets that click into spray mode, then require you to click it back or turn it off to release the spray function. Personally, I prefer this method, as I only really spray things while I'm holding the sprayer. Also, the spray isn't a powerful, knock the stubborn food particles off your plate kind of spray. It's more of a gentle rinsing spray. I also prefer this, to minimize the splashing across my island countertop. If I need to dislodge food, I grab my scrub brush. I would highly recommend this faucet to any of my friends.

11/21/2012 I purchased this faucet for my kitchen renovation last year and have been very pleased with it. it looks great, retracts well, looks fabulous with my Franke orca sink. The satin finish is nice but with six people using the faucet it needs to be cleaned often. The price was where i wanted it and service great. Came quickly and my plumber had no issues installing. i would have rated it excellent if the button for spray stayed on without my having to hold it down. good overall and no regrets!

only ok 11/20/2012 this faucet is very stylish but we don't think it works great. it swivels but less than expected and it does not stay in place, tends to go back to the original position which is not very convenient. moreover, it was supposed to have a magnet so that the sprayer could go back and attach, but it does not work. not happy.

Looks elegant and feels elegant. 6/18/2012 Here is my opinion: LOVE IT!! The feel, it is heavy and solid to the touch Looks elegant and feels elegant. The spray head simply pulls out (unlike another faucet I have where it requires a twist then out. Inadvertently guests break it) It is beautiful and I plan on getting the same faucet for the next (very big) reno

We love our Hansgrohe Talis S HighArc Kitchen faucet. 6/15/2012 Overall purchase experience: We remodeled our kitchen 6 months ago and purchased our sink, faucet, and other accessories from Quality Bath. Their price was good. Communication regarding shipping had been great. Review on Hansgrohe 14877: We love our Hansgrohe Talis S HighArc Kitchen faucet. It has a sleek and modern look. The spray handle retracts smoothly and covers every corner of our big sink. The on/off handle is very smooth and easy to adjust. There is minor splashing when water runs into our deep sink. We prefer using the shower spray mode to prevent the splashing, but the spray button cannot be locked in. Therefore, we have to hold the button constantly. We finally use an O-ring to take care of this problem and lock in the shower spray mode. The stainless steel attracts some water spots but it is very easy to wipe off.

Quality product 5/15/2012 This Hansgrohe was a dream to install - the best and easiest ever. The look is superb. Love the stainless steel finish, but fingerprints and water spots do show. We keep a rag in drawer nearby to polish, and it does polish up easily, but you still have to do it. Chrome might have been easier but I still prefer the look of the stainless. The handle retracts perfectly and silently. No excessive splashing in our standard depth sink. Handle is very smooth and easy to adjust. Just wish the spray button could stay "on" without holding, but not really a problem. I check prices everywhere (at least 15 websites and several stores and this was the best price. Service here is also great - they answered all our questions even after the purchase. Will probably always get Hansgrohe faucets from now on.

We are very happy with our purchase 10/26/2011 We definitely love the faucets. Water flows out evenly, the pull down handle retracts in quietly and evenly, without force. Has a handsome look for a large or medium sized sink....we bought one for a 19x18 stainless prep sink (the prep faucet) which is about an inch smaller and the regular faucet for our 30x19 inch main sink. We are very happy with our purchases, and were also very pleased with the price and service.

This is my 10/25/2011 This is my "go-to" faucet as an architect. I recommend it to friends and clients. Perfect balance of price and quality. A winner! Also, I just installed it in my kitchen, and love it. I think chrome is the best way to go in keeping it looking great, compared to satin metals.

The hose is made of braided nylon. You hold the spray button down to use the spray feature and release the button to switch back to normal water flow. The switch is made of hard plastic.

Why do I have to select the water flow? What does it mean?
Water flow refers to the GPM -gallons per minute- that flow from a faucet. This faucet is available in two different GPM's, either a 2.2GPM or 1.5GPM. The smaller GPM is water efficient as it uses less water when the faucet is running, but is less forceful and powerful than a faucet with a greater GPM

Is the button to divert spray supposed to lock into place?
No, this is a nonlocking button.
