We've only had this faucet for a few months, so I can't specifically review its longevity. But I feel safe knowing that Grohe really does use all-metal construction - including the hose. The handle is easy and graceful to use. The pull-down spray is handy for kettle-filling and rinsing oddly shaped dishes or vegetables. If you're comparing it to the non-"Cafe" Ladylux, it's base is a bit more "chunky", but the neck is still plenty high, and it looks fantastic in our small kitchen! Plus, we got a great price and fast delivery from Quality Bath!
