System Aria and Aria Elite incorporate MTI's thermo-air massage, a type of hydrotherapy that caresses the body with millions of relaxing air bubbles heated to body temperature. An electronic keypad allows 5-level control for speed and intensity of air massage from soft and caressing to more vigorous. Bathers can also select the wave effect, which alternates the speed between strong and soft to create an efficient lymphatic massage.

System Aria features 20 discreet air jets in the bottom of the bath. Aria Elite offers the enhancement of six, seven-port, low-profile lateral air jets positioned on the sides of the bath creating a total of 42 additional air streams: two concentrated on the back area, two at the feet and one on each side for the hands and arms.

Both systems are exceptionally hygienic. Specially designed plastic protective jet housings, unique to MTI, isolate components to prevent residue buildup in the fiberglass backing of the bath. Sealed in each housing is a built-in backflow prevention check valve that keeps bath water from entering the air lines. Finally, 20 minutes after the air bath, an automatic purge cycle engages for 1 minute to remove any water that might be remaining in the air jets. This ensures that the next bath will be sanitary and fresh.
